The NRC book club is presently reading the book "One Thousand Gifts" by Ann Voskamp. What an incredible book that uses very poetic words to teach about offering Thanks in the little things. I have put a link on my website to her blog, please check it out.
I am keeping a list of the little things I am thankful for and want to share a few:

3. Cool mornings in August
6. College ministers like Nate
10. Blue eyes
12. Kisses in the morning
14. Phone calls from Ariel
15. Watching Dean sleep.
I will praise God's name with song and exalt Him with Thanksgiving. Psalm 69:30
We say the words Thanksgiving, offering Thanks, being thankful with such ease and naturally think of the bigger things. It is time to take the words and make them smaller - being grateful, being thankful for all the little small things throughout the day.
I challenge you to keep a list and watch yourself smile throughout the day. It will definitely change your focus.
