Ariel has had a busy week or two.  She has had to start a whole new life for herself.  In the last 2 weeks she has had to leave her home, move to Auburn, create a home for herself in her dorm room, meet her roommate from Missouri and her suitemates from Colorado and California.  There were long days of Sorority Rush, book buying sessions, grocery shopping, learning a new city, setting up her mailbox.  She has gone to classes, met new friends, attended a worship service one night, and is looking forward to finding her church to worship and a group to keep her accountable as she begins this new phase of her life.

As a pastor's kid - she has never had the experience of having to find a church (nor has she had the opportunity to watch her family do this.)  I pray that the Lord will direct her quickly and smoothly to where He wants her!  Here are some pictures from Rush Week at Auburn:

Dean is doing amazingly well but pictures are few are far between.  He is a 13 year old boy that only wants pictures when he is a good mood.  His classes seem to be going well.  He loves being in the oldest group on campus.  And I have to admit that he loves the "new" family unit that is centered around him.  Well most of the time....he probably gets a little bit too much attention from me after school.  I mean I actually have time to check every piece of homework!

He still loves to cook....this week his creation was Spicy shrimp pizza!  Yummy!  Just look.....
Yummy!
